Audax and Cyclo Sportive Events

Sunday 12 July Cyclo Sportive Seventy 70. Choice of 70 mile (click for route), 70 km (click for route) or 35 km circuit  (click for route)of The New Forest. Start at Woodgreen Village Hall. Organiser Jools Hayhurst. (01722 335363)

Sunday 9 Aug Audax. West Bay and back (200km: Very hard) or Mini Tour of Blackmore Vale and Cranborne Chase (114km). Both start at Wilton Community Centre. Organiser Dave Sambells (01722 327380) Both events can be entered on the day, but it is recommended to pre-enter.

If riding a bicycle is your thing (whether it be competitively or non-competitively) then meet like minded people at the Salisbury Road Club..

Wednesday evening pub runs (in association with Salisbury CTC). Start from Market Square 19:00

Thursday evening club runs.

April – August. Non-competitive training rides of around two hours duration. Meet at the War Memorial in Market Square, Salisbury at 19:00 (not held on race days).

Seventy 70.

The Seventy70 is a non-competitive 'cyclo-sportive' event. It will be held on Sunday 13th July, starting and finishing at Woodgreen village hall (nr Fordingbridge). Start time is 9am.

There are three distances, 70 miles or 70km for more experienced cyclists and a 35km ‘family-friendly’ route to choose from. The cost is £5 per person, this includes direction sheets for all riders, a medal to all finishers and free food & drinks at the start and finish.
